Thanks for visiting! Here you will find what we currently know about our family lines which are by no means limited to the Donnelly and Dancey names. Included here are details from our direct lines as well as anything interesting discovered along the way. While I'm not a professional genealogist I'm usually not the slowest guy in the room either. This is one of my hobbies and I've spent a small but considerable amount of time each year learning more and making progress. Some roadblocks have taken years to clear either because the data I needed was not available or I couldn't find the time I needed to request the film and dig through it.
This entire endeavor is a perpetual work in progress. In general my methodology has been to record data when I learn of it and am reasonably sure it's accurate. Later I'll spend time researching and verifying that data, making notes, adding documents and sources as I uncover them. I am always happy to hear from someone researching common relatives! I am particularly interested in pictures or documents associated with any of my relatives that I might not already have.
