JOHN CHARLES DIETZMAN, farmer, Sec 4, P.O. Mifflin; born in Saxony, Germany, March 26, 1832; came to Wisconsin in 1845; engaged in farming and mining; now owns 200 acers of land. His wife, Melissa Nolan, was born in Coles Co., Ill., in 1845.; marriend in 1860. They have seven children; - Ella Jane, born May 1861; William C. born Sept 16, 1862; Herman G. born Sept. 14, 1864; Frank P. born Aug 25, 1866; Martha born Jan 19, 1869; Charles A. born Apr 8, 1872; Alfaretta born March 29, 1878.
