Last Will and Testament of Oliver H. McDonald, deceased
Know all men by these presents:
That I, Oliver H. McDonald of Hatfield, Polk County, Arkansas, beingin moderately good health, and of sound and disposing mind and memory, domake and publish this my last will and testament hereby revoking allformer wills by me at any time heretofore made.
1st. I hereby constitute and appoint my son George W. McDonald to bethe sole executor of my last will, directing my said executor to pay allmy just expenses and the legacies hereinafter given out of my estate.
2nd. After the payment of my said debts and funeral expenses, I giveto each of my children, James A. McDonald, William H. McDonald, Alice C.Cole, and to my grandson, Oscar Colley, the sum of one dollar each to bepaid to them as soon after my decease but within one year as convenientlymay be done.
3rd. To my beloved wife, P. J. McDonald, I give one iron gray marenamed "Doll."
4th. To my said executor George W. McDonald I give all the entireremainder of my personal estate including household furniture and wearingapparel for his own sole use and benefit.
5th. I hereby devise to my said wife, P. J. McDonald all the residueof my real estate as long as she shall remain unmarried and my widow withthe remainder thereof on her decease or marriage to my said executorGeorge W. McDonald, and unto his heirs, for his and their own proper useand behalf forever.
In testimony whereof, I hereunto set my hand and publish and declarethis to be my last will and testament in the presence of these witnessnamed below . This 31st day of August A D 1903.
