Blackberry Cobbler

Ingredients

1 Cup, 1/4 Cup and 1 Tablespoon sugar, measured out separately.

1 cup self-rising flour

1 cup milk (Whole Milk Preferred)

1/2 stick butter, melted

2 cups fresh blackberries

Directions

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

In a large bowl, combine 1 cup of sugar with 1 cup of flour

Stir in the milk
Stir in melted butter and mix well.

Pour onto the bottom of a greased 9 x 9 inch baking dish.

Drop the berries, spaced evenly, on top of the mix.

Sprinkle 1/4 cup sugar over the top (the extra tablespoon will be used later)

Bake for 50 minutes. Remove from the oven and sprinkle remaining tablespoon of sugar evenly on top.

Bake for 10 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.

Notes

This was good and easy to make. In a pinch can make self rising flour for this.
About 10oz of blackberries yields about 2 cups.
